GLUING MACHINES

Absolutely. EME series gluing machines make it easy to spread glue on State Marks, handing them to the operator ready to be applied to products. Paper labels are coated with just the right amount of glue so they are not damaged.

The EME series gluing machines and the BTL 210 labeling machine for cylindrical bodies are made in Italy, in our facility. The construction of these machines is handcrafted, each one is checked in all its behaviors. Thanks to the excellent materials, its design and careful manufacture, the machines will last several years.

Produced in small batches, they are always in stock. If ordered in the morning, the machines are shipped in the afternoon by express courier, and the customer receives them the next day.

It is quite simple: all parts are disassembled by hand, the motor box with electrical parts are separated from the glue pot so that it can wash in water with the help of a brush, after recovering the leftover glue to avoid waste. Daily washing at the end of the day’s use is recommended.
Video tutorials are available with QR codes attached to the machines and shown in the manual.

Glue Dots™

Glue dots are available in three adhesives: low and high are removable, while super high are permanent.

Glue dots are clean, non-toxic and easy to apply. They do not leave strands or halos on where they are placed.

For the 8000 glue dots dispenser boxes, the minimum order quantity is one pack. Rolls for the 1500 dot DSP dispenser are sold in packs of 8 rt for a total of 12,000 glue dots.

It is best not to touch the adhesive surface with your fingers, because you can alter the glue dot’s adhesive property. The object to be applied will contact the glue dot directly.

Once you choose the type of adhesive, make the payment, the order will be shipped immediately by courier. Glue dots are always in our warehouse.

Their stickiness is guaranteed for 2 years, but if well stored, they can be used beyond that time.

GUMMED PAPER TAPE

Gummed paper tape has, as an adhesive, a vegetable glue (potato starch) that is activated by contact with water. To close a cardboard box, it needs to be moistened and applied. Its glue, penetrating into the fibers of the cardboard, will seal it solidly and firmly.

Gummed paper tape is very easily applied through the use of humidifiers. These dispensers, which can be electric or manual, quickly moisten and hand the operator the paper cut to the desired length and ready to be applied to the box.

The paper tape, when wetted, adheres completely with the box becoming one body. This ensures burglar-proof sealing of the box.
Paper tape, or gummed paper tape, is environmentally friendly because it is made of 100% environmentally sustainable plant-based materials (paper +
potato or corn starch) Paper tape can be disposed of directly with the box carton.
The pvc or ppl tape never totally adheres to the box because of the short fibers of the cardboard, so only a little heat is needed to remove it without obvious signs of trespass. Adhesive tape is not biodegradable because pvc and ppl are derived from chemical sources, as is their adhesive.
Its disposal must be differentiated from the box carton.

Absolutely NO! As with pvc and ppl adhesive tapes, these have the pressure sensitive adhesive with silicone part that in most cases is not of plant origin Gummed paper tape becomes adhesive only by activating the coated part (the shiny one) with vegetable glue derived from potato or corn starch. Adhesive paper tape also is subject to rapid aging, after a few months it may no longer have the same adhesiveness.
Gummed paper tape, if not moistened and stored in a dry environment, can be stored for very long periods!

Absolutely not. The cost of a roll of gummed paper varies according to its characteristics (height, possible thread reinforcement, printing of lettering or logos, color) in any case all rolls of gummed paper are larger than rolls of tape: 200/150 mt vs 66/132 mt.
Gummed paper is also advantageous in terms of time and material waste: less time and material is used to close a box.

Yes, gummed papers tape can be customized with colors, logos, and lettering. Their printing will be a bit easier than pvc or ppl adhesive tapes. This peculiarity can highlight an eco-friendly business choice of packaging.

PAPER TAPE DISPENSER

In order to make the best use of gummed paper tape, as a method of closing cardboard packages, it is recommended to make use of these special dispensers that humidify the paper tape by curing the glue and then cut the strip needed to close the package, according to the operator’s indication.

There are different types of dispensers: from manual and semi-automatic ones, which are simpler and cheaper, to electric ones with push-button controls for speed and precision needs. Their cost, never so high, will soon be absorbed by the convenience of their use, which is easy and suitable for optimizing gummed paper waste. 

To best choose the most suitable model, a few points need to be evaluated: the amount of boxes to be closed, the speed you want to have to do this operation, and the type of paper tape used (standard or reinforced).
