Totally redesigned from the inside out, while maintaining the integrity and reliability that made the original 555 an industry standard. This brand new electronic gummed tape dispenser offers the operator 14 preset choices from 15 - 145 cm at the push of a button. In the automatic mode up to 3 lengths can be saved and dispensed in sequence or in turn. Additionally special function keys can adjust tape lengths. Large repeat key to dispense last length. Random length key allows tape to be dispensed in any length. As an option there is a foot pedal for hands-free operation. The machine uses strips of gummed paper tape, reinforced or standard, widths of 40 - 80 mm and lengths of up to 200 m. A serial port allows connection with the AMD automatic measuring device.

The 555e can also be equipped with the CODETAPER® printing device which prints tape with your chosen message or code as the tape is dispensed. This built-in process improves productivity, identifies merchandise and discourages in-transit pilferage.
